      Arpita Anand is a Counselling Psychologist with over 14 years of experience. She is based in Goa and works with Sangath, an NGO, as their Clinical Co-ordinator on projects funded by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She also runs a private practice with a large part of her work focusing on providing counselling services to people with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief and bereavement counselling and work stress among others.   Arpita specialises in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and has been trained in London, New York and New Delhi. Having completed her Bachelor's and Master's in Psychology from Delhi University, Arpita moved to London to pursue another Master's programme, subsequently going on to work at the prestigious Bellevue Hospital in New York for further specialisation.   On her return to India she began working with Max Healthcare and Escorts Heart Institute. In addition to her clinical work, she has also been extensively involved in working with corporates providing them with Employee Assistance Programmes and organising and delivering workshops on issues such as Work-Life Balance and Managing Stress.
