• Brief Profile


    Dr Mani holds more than 30 years of experience in the field of medicine, pulmonology and critical care. Prior to the present appointment, he was the “Director – Department of Critical Care, Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine” at the Artemis Health Institute, Gurgaon, where he also held the position of Chairman (Infection control committee) and Vice-Chairman (Institutional Ethics Board).

     

    Dr Mani has been associated with Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, Fortis Group and other reputed names in the healthcare sector. He is an expert in the field of diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopic techniques. During his tenure in Fortis, he had set up and developed an integrated unit of pulmonology, thoracic surgery & intensive care.

     

    Widely recognised as a ‘Teacher’ in his field, Dr. Mani has been bestowed with Fellowship of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP) and an award for distinguished services to the medical profession, Delhi Medical Association  

     

    Apart from a busy clinical schedule DR. Mani also has an active academic life. He is an examiner with the national board of examination’s & Indian society of critical Care Medicine  he is also a reviewer to a number of journals. He is presently a Chief Editor of the Indian Journal of Critical Care Medicine. Dr Mani has to his credit a number of research publications on Innovative therapies & palliative care pertaining to critical care medicine. He is also a Past president of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine.

     

    Trained in New Delhi & in the U.K. Dr Raj Kumar Mani is a name to reckon with in Pulmonology and Critical Care. He lives in South Delhi with his wife and a daughter
